    Venus Williams (the Greyhound) finished second in the Greyhound Night Of Stars
    Race 3 at Flagler in Miami.

    Off at 23 to 1 odds, Venus Williams had the lead at the top of the home stretch,
    but was overtaken and lost by 2 1/2 lengths to a 25-to-1 longshot named Kiowa Willbelate. Venus Williams sister Serena was sent off at 3 to 1 odds. She had the lead, but was passed entering the far turn.

    Kiowa Willbelate paid 52.60, 19.00 and 6.80. Venus paid a whopping 33.20 to place and 15.20 to show. Gator John, who finished third. paid 3.60

    The quinela paid a mind boggling 276.20. The trifecta paid 2886.20 and the superfecta paid 4,652.20.

    Well hopefully the REAL Serena will wrap up the Wimbledon finals in just enough time to get a cup of coffee and tune in to Arg vs Germany
