You recall Michael Holding's famous over to Geoff Boycott? Even today when it is replayed on video/DVD Boycott still cant see one of the six balls that he faced that day.Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.

Brian Close was the '76 tour to England. The over to Boycott was when England toured the WI in 81.
The over to Close was more hostile, but in terms of quality the Boycott over was probably better. Apparently Boycott who was a fanatic about his technique, watched the tape for hours after the game and said he was satisfied that there was nothing that he could have done.
I wish there was a better quality video available for it online:

It was Boycott, he was doing a West Indies Test not too long ago and was giving Carl Hooper a hard time and the producers dug up the clip of the over vs Holding and to say the least, he was less than pleased.Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.
