Chris Gayle has been reinstated as West Indies captain for the forthcoming three-Test series in Australia, marking the end of a long-running contract dispute involving the team's leading players.
The 30-year-old has been named to lead the forthcoming tour, which begins on November 18 with a four-day match against Queensland, after the end of strike action by the Windies' frontline stars.
Only four players - Darren Sammy, Travis Dowlin, Kemar Roach and Gavin Tonge - who made themselves available during July's home series with Bangladesh and September's Champions Trophy in South Africa have been retained, while the likes of Sulieman Benn, Dwayne Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Jerome Taylor return.
Australian-born Brendan Nash is included, while two uncapped players - Adrian Barath and Tonge - were also named.
Gayle, 30, has made 82 Test appearances, but none since May's contests in England, while he has not played for the West Indies since the home one-day international series with India in July.
West Indies face Australia in three Tests, the first of which takes place at the Gabba, in Brisbane, beginning on November 26.
The second Test is at Adelaide from December 4 and the third and final Test takes place in Perth from December 16. Squad: Chris Gayle (captain), Adrian Barath, Sulieman Benn, Dwayne Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Narsingh Deonarine, Travis Dowlin, Brendan Nash, Denesh Ramdin, Ravi Rampaul, Kemar Roach, Darren Sammy, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Jerome Taylor, Gavin Tonge.
