    The Great Kevin Young...

    ...good yute dat.

    Met Kevin Young last nite at a social in Manhattan.

    Loves Jamaica, respects & understands our program and what its success is based on.
    Has visted Jamaica and seen the intensity and desire of the kids...has checked out Waterhouse and other inner city communities..knows the struggles and marvels at the success and also interest the athletes have in education.

    Loves Bolt and what he's doing to uplift track...in short he's 100% on the money & with a great personality. Is starting his own foundation to help at risk kids.

    A girlfriend of mine with a video camera even shot an off the cuff interview I did with him...good yute!

        Wasn't he on the "suspect" list? He came out of the blue and blew away everybody then left the sports suddenly. Hmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!

            butch reynolds was the first one did hear of to get a substantial ban...just now remembering young may have been banned or at least disciplined

                  i think you are mixing up jerome young with kevin young... i think it was a knee injury that cut short kevin young's career... i don't remember kevin young being in any drug scandal... i could be wrong but i doubt it... i remember him breaking edwin moses record because he was taller and had speed...

                    btw, the same thing about bolt now is what they said about kevin young... he took fewer strides to cover the 400m hurdles...

                        sickko, it was jerome young who was born in jamaica... i know that as fact... he is from ct and was on the 4x4 relay team...

                        that is where the mix up come from... the name 'young'... but iz two a dem...

                            fewer strides than who? moses took 13 between hurdles. young took less than that?!?

                              he was revolutionary..he alternated (in the same race!) between 12 and thirteen strides.
