Well run by all our ladies. One thing, Rosemary Whyte was not as aggressve as she could have been in that start leg. She was too cautious. Imagine she conserved so much that Debbie Dunn of the US destroyed a 500M stagger within 400M and ended with a comprehensive lead.
Rosemary needs to gun it for the first 80 -150...stride out the back-stretch/float down the back-stretch and come home strong in the last 110m -120M. She has 22 change 200M speed and 50.50 400M speed. She appeared to run much below that today. I think she was thinking only 'safe silver'....don't push and hurt that prospect. Dunn cannot run 50 - 80M faster than Rosemary in a flat 400M...and that chipping away of the stagger was what happened in that 1st leg.Last edited by Karl; August 23, 2009, 12:43 PM."Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
