Bolt will never be the legend he's supposed to be unless he can give us a sub-19 200m and a sub-40 400m.
He needs to step up in time for London!
Mosiah, you are funny, dude!
By the way, have you realized that while in the past world records would inch downwards by a hundredth of a second or so, in this era, thanks to this phenomenal human being Usain Bolt, the world record has shifted by a whole one-tenth of a second!! Really, how can one find adequate superlatives to describe Usain?
I agree fully, Willi, although Asafa’s race has to be respected too!! That 100-meter final today was a darn serious race!! In fact, the 9.71 seconds for second place by Tyson Gay would have been a world record a year ago, and Asafa Powell’s third place time (9.84 seconds) was the exact time that gave Donovan Bailey the world record thirteen years ago (1996 Olympic Games).
On another general note…… Respect due to Historian or what?
Results: Historian’s Prediction: My #1 (Usain Bolt) was #1 My #2 (Tyson Gay) was #2 My #3 (Daniel Daniel) was #4
And I am happy that Asafa was the one who threw off my prediction!!!
