This is an American TV rule...first they grudgingly show track and field and then get upset and have to find things to say during the break, plus they package the meets tightly some times cutting away during the last events
I do agree to some extent as some people with less than world class starts (and I am not pointing fingers at Bigga Thomas) who always seem to false start and I also know of situations where coaches tell slow starters to pick the start as part of their race strategy.Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.

Paul Marin -19 is one thing, 20 is a whole other matter. It gets even worse if they win the UCL. *groan*.
