Find it moot that an relay athlete after 5 yrs in high school, 4 yrs running in college, + how much international competions, can say they were never exposed to taking the baton in the right or left hand.

IMO, KS was exuberant at the chance of getting a Gold, got excited and therein came Murphy's law........................
...and in this situation did not 'take lessons', do 'exercises' and 'pass pre-exam tests'...before being thrown in the 'finals'?

As I said earlier - Cannot wrap my head around that!

Please don't come back with any of the foolish mental or TEAM responses.
You are talking from a position of ignorance (I do not mean that as a slight or shouting at you!) ...all it takes to be comfortable and expert is enough practise.

        Karl

        You are ignorant here.

Where did KS run in the SF...what leg?

What did she practise and when? She doubled up, so no rest until just before the relays, so it must have been in the 2 week Tianjan camp. What did she practise then, for which leg/hand? Did that change with the relay finals order? Things that make you go hmmmm?

As Sickko told you, athletes like Bolt ALWAYS switches the baton to their right hand. He cannot run with it in the left as he fears dropping it. So he has to run 1st or 3rd to avoid this.

We have had big time coaches discuss this with us at Caribs and the Zone.

This relay thing bigger dan you I see... Sigh.

Mi dun with this argument, as the proof is there for al to see. Fumbled exchange, opportunity lost and we done get what the duck get. Now if we continue to make poor decisions, we will likely get our just desserts.

What time do you have between running your individual events and resting at a major meet to relearn all these things you are asking Karl?

and I am sure the high school track you ran in 1920 puts you in a position of an expert here right?

I never claim to be an exper but when i dont know I ask experts instead ofguessing or trying to use amateur experiences to guage my responses.
