After the second round is completed, players who make the cut will start their third round. The local radar shows a "window" of two to three hours of no rain.
Ricky Barnes, who has never won on the PGA Tour, holds a 1-stroke lead over Lucas Glover after the end of the third round of the US Open. Barnes is 8-under par after shooting an even-par 70.
David Duval, once the number-one ranked golfer in the world before dropping completely off the map, is tied for third with England's Ross Fisher at -3
Players will start the fourth and final round Sunday evening, and finish on Monday.
