  • Bolt injured in car crash

Just heard that he was in a car accident on Highway 2000 with a female companion. He was rushed to the hospital. Don't know the nature of his injuries.

    Looks like a true.
The same type of thinking that created a problem cannot be used to solve the problem.

I was thinking about the same thing too. There are few young people who can handle high performance vehicles, and mi would discourage anyone under 25 from driving one a dem.

              Bolt not seriously injured.

              Bolt treated after car crash

              Associated Press

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Olympic champion sprinter Usain Bolt was in a car crash Wednesday in Jamaica, but police and his manager said he was not seriously injured.
Bolt and an unidentified female passenger were taken to a hospital in Spanish Town. Neither was seriously hurt, police Sgt. David Sheriff said.
Bolt was apparently speeding on a rain-slicked highway when he lost control of the BMW M3 and it went off the road, Sheriff told The Associated Press. Sheriff was the first officer to arrive at the scene in St. Catherine parish and found the car heavily damaged.
The track star's manager, Norman Peart, said Bolt sustained nothing more than scratches from thorn bushes when he stepped out of the car on the side of the road.
"We are very relieved he's OK," Peart told the AP. "Everybody is fine."
The 22-year-old sprinter won the 100 and 200 meters at the Beijing Olympics and was part of the Jamaica team that won the 4x100 relay. All three gold medals were earned in world-record times.
Bolt was given the BMW by his sponsor Puma as a reward for his outstanding performance in the Olympics.

Better in an M3 than a modified Honda Civic (which he drove before) and who said it was Mizicann, his girlfriend, in the car?

The FTC should investigate. Maybe he doesn't want to compete this weekend!

I was thinking the same thing. I had afriend who walked away from a serious accident in a BMW and was told by the Police that any other car except maybe a Lexus he would be dead.

My concern are the tires. I dont see why his hi-perf tires should not be able to handle the slick weather.

I admit though that its easy to be overloaded with all that power in a manual car can be overwhelming. He should have gotten an automatic, as its easy to trash that clutch.
