Sas, who knows really. He claims that it went on the back-burner after Pound.

Maybe he is making the whole thing up. I just wish I had a better motive to pin on him than "he don't like Caribbean people winning".

I have a lot of questions but not a lot of answers.

Why do you even think he may not like Caribbean people winning?
The question is; why is he doing this?

He has proven he does not care about anything except self.

Certainly he has proven he cares about making money from supplying drugs...performancing drugs to athletes.

Could we take it a step further and say he has proven that he cares about illegally introducing 'his operation' into the sport to make money?

...he has proven he cares about manipulating athletes to flout regulations and break the rules of the game...to further his self-interest i.e. making for himself money?

Has he changed? Is he now a person who has had his "Road to Damascus" moment and now 'loves' the sport. Caring only for burnishing its image to 'shining good'? ...or is he the same person who cares only for self-enrichment? ...working another angle to remake his image and continue to make money? Why is he doing this hatchet job?

His own sayings - He has not a shread of evidence...not one scintillia of proof...to base his innuendos...his veiled and or equivocal reflection on character and or reputation of the athletes...suggesting use of performance enhancing drugs? He says this...why then? Surely it can only make sense if he is in it for gain?

What reason can I have to trust these utterings of such a man?
No proof!
No evidence!
...only innuendos!
...it brings me to once again ask, why is he doing this?

Conte is an ****************************. In these times all one has to do is to raise the suspicions without providing the proof. It's like calling a man a pedophile. You don't have to prove anything to anyone for him to cast out of soceity. That's a stain that will stay with him for life.

Karl if you waiting for me to defend Conte you are going to be waiting a long time. The man is scum and we know that.

And yes all of the explanations you suggest about being paid or put up to it are possible, even probable.

They were also possible when he ratted out Marion Jones, thats all I am saying. I am still very fragile when it comes to my love for track and field. I was one of those schoolboys who couldn't make the team but had all the stats for every girls and boys champs in my head.

Then came that horrible day in 1988 in the middle of suffering the aftermath of Gilbert with no electricity, bully beef and luke-warm water. Ben Johnson tested positive for drugs. Track and field has never been the same for me again.

Still when I look at Bolt and his phenom status since his teens and Shelly-Anns story, thier performances are believable. And in the case of Bolt, WR were to be expected at some point if he was to live up to his potential.
