The issue is not her performance at the event.. she might be indeed special.. the issue is this:

The San Diego Union-Tribune's staff writer, Mark Zeigler, noted the debate which raged in Jamaica about whether or not world champion Veronica Campbell-Brown should be made to run in the 100m ahead of Fraser despite Campbell-Brown not qualifying for the 100m after finishing fourth in the national championships.

He noted the dramatic drop in Fraser's times from a season's best 11.31 in 2007 to 10.78 in the Olympics. He said the time would raise questions and compared it to the United States' Kelli White who in 2003 "went on BALCO's doping programme" and lowered her PR from 11.19 to 10.85 "enough to win the world championship".
