    What prevents Jamaica from Entering ...swimming, water-polo

    badminton; beach volleyball; swimming; table tennis; *Equestrian; weightlifting, boxing; SHOOTING...and other olympic events

      We do participate in some of those, swimming, cycling and we used to have boxers, not sure about this year.

      Beach volleyball is an entertaining sport. I actually think I like watching it more than the regular indoor game. Looks like a sport we could do well in , and it doesn't take a lot of expense to play.

          Beach Volley Ball a di cheapest sport you can think of. only net, and shorts you need.

              And, are you sure we don't have entrants in some of those sports?

                If Jamaica had entrants in the long-jump, shotput, discus, fencing, boxing...most folk on this site would know.

                  I am sure qwe have entrants. But just entering doesn't guarantee you will qualify for the Olympics.

                    We need a large pool of dedicated people who make a living 'nationally' and/or 'Internationally' from these sports.

                    Dont even think about telling anything about the shottas.
                    The same type of thinking that created a problem cannot be used to solve the problem.
