The one place that I have gone and there is little or no sense of what Jamaica is, no sense of it's existence or anything not even a sense of reggae music, nothing at all is China.
With some great performances that will totally change, when we are done with this Olympics Jamaica should be on the mind or made some great impression on all of China, that would be a great thing.
In Finland many people i met still talk about Herb Mac and the Jamaican team like legendary heroes, the first time I ever saw the 4*400 M race won by Ja was in Finland on regular TV some 50 years later, talk about impact!! I never saw that shown on TV ever in Jamaica, I also saw a massive pic of the photofinish in the 100 m with Herb Mac missed a medal.
