The West Indies selectors took a lot of stick for selecting Xavier Marshall but they are vindicated. The young man looks like a class act. 37 in first innings now 77 not out. Well done selectors.
Actually, 39 in the first inning and 85 in the second. So far he has scored 182 runs in his 4 innings for an average of 45.5 runs.

it was sad to see him out like that... thought he was going to get his first test century... marshall is a really good stroke player... technically sound... uses his feet well...
the real disappointment was gayle... he never looked comfortable at all... i will cut him some slack since he is coming off an injury and could be rusty... i am surprised with his technique he could make it this far in test cricket...
once again, its on chanders shoulders to help us to a positive result... not sure if the remaining bats can make 200+ to secure a win...
