  • Five South Africans back in the pavillion

Now if we can get rid of De Villiers and Boucher then the first test match will be ours.

SA now 165/5 ; still needing another 224 runs to beat the Windies.

Winides have demonstrated their trademark game, inconsistency, with batting in this match. Let's hope the bowling and fielding can do the job.

The most amazing statistic I'm seeing on cricinfo is that windies have bowled only 1 wide, I repeat 1 wide in this innings so far. Now that's the disciplined bowling we'd like to see. Fidel Edwards 3 for 26 and Taylor 3 for 59 thus far.

This will be a sweet, sweet win for West Indies, their first taste of success since May 2005 at home. Not many gave them a chance when they landed in South Africa but they've dominated almost every session of this Test to take the series opener by 128 runs. Its their first overseas win (excluding against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe) since they beat England at Edgbaston in 2000.

For Dwayne Bravo, its his first win in 24 Tests ... wow.74.5Samuels to Ntini, OUT, and there's a historic win for West Indies, as Ntini spoons a top-edge to Powell, running around from mid-off and holding it at extra cover!
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.
