What is the Fortis Pavilion?
The Fortis Pavilion is a group of philanthropic Kingston College graduates in Jamaica and the Diaspora. An elected Executive and a Constitution are in place to ensure good governance. The Pavilion aims to continue to protect and promote the Fortis and Kingston College brands, and ensure that Kingston College remains the most viable alternative for young Jamaican men, from all walks of life, who want to be given a chance at a better future.
The group’s flagship initiative is the Mentorship Programme, which focuses on the holistic development of the students. The ultimate aim is to mould the young men into future role models, who after being exposed to the programme, will be sufficiently prepared to make the transition to maturity, and contribute positively to the shaping of their families, communities and country.
