Fitzroy Prendergast has been working as a sports journalist for the last
ten years during which time he has worked extensively with a number of
media houses across the globe.

Prendergast, spent five years at the Gleaner as a staff reporter,
specializing in the coverage of cricket.
He has also served as a correspondent for the internetsoccer.com, reuters
(news), the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Caribbean service and
Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC).
Locally, he has worked as a freelancer for Radio Jamaica, CVM Television,
The Jamaica Observer and IRIE FM.
Currently Prendergast works as a correspondent for the Associated French
Press (AFP), Reuters (Sports) and Washington Post.
He also serves as Cable News Network (CNN) and the American Broadcasting
Corporation (ABC) news correspondent in the Caribbean as well as being
Press Association's (PA) chief cricket correspondent in the Caribbean.
Additionally, Prendergast is the producer of the country's number sports
programme on radio "Scoreboard" aired on Klas FM 89. |
