How did Jack Warner convince Fifa to grant him $400,000 US to build a sporting facility in TnT?
Did they not just build a number of facilities there already?
Now, I am not player-hating our neighbour for their fortunes, but considering that Jamaica, the first English-speaking country to represent the region in the W/Cup finals is lacking a decent facility, and with Jack Warner knowing this. I would have thought that by now, Burrell would have requested of him, Warner, to assist him in seeking Fifa's assistance in contructing a facility.
On the other hand, if Fifa was fair in it's disbursing of cash in the region, then surely Jamaica would have benifited a long time ago.
Oh, well, what is new.
On another note: What is a school that is based in St. Thomas doing competing in the Dacosta Cup.
Even though one could make the same case for Clarendon.
Maybe the Manning and Dacosta Cup need to be reasses in an effort to better zone the schools.
Good to see Arnett Gardens going off to compete in another tournament beginning this weekend in Florida after successfully winning the tournament that they participated in down in the Cayman Islands.
Good luck to them and the five youngsters that they are taking along for the experience. Well done Arnett.

Patience Charmin, patience. Our assistance from FIFA will allow us to build two other stadiums. One in Montego Bay and the other in Mandeville. I understand that the MoBay stadium will have a 50,000 capacity, while Mandeville will be 30,000.

Obviously you know more than me.
I will be patience only because it is coming from you. However, it would be good to know a time frame for the announcement...6mths, 1yr.
On the other hand, it is good to see that a number of clubs are taking the necessary steps to upgrade their facilities. That is a big plus and the JFF must be giving credit here for demanding this.
