is it pele or maradona.
pele was a better forward, diego a better midfeilder. but who is better overall. |

To tell you de truth brotha i dont know why people does even debate this topic , this is a chalk and cheese arguement. I think it is really rediculous to compare players who play in differnt positions more so in different positions and in a different era. In pele's time the focus was on the attacking aspect of the game and defenders were simply put on the field without any real tactics,and as a result would be easier to score on that kinda of defence that on the type employed in the modern game. Apart from that because of the nature of the game forwards have less time on the ball than midfielders thus an attacking midfielder would have more possession of the ball. I for one dont think that either one is better or worse than the other because they were both exceptional talent that achieved there potential... |
